*Puts on his 3D glasses and begins to type* ...

This movie would've been way better without sound, or better yet, without the acting or attempt at plot. Besides, the Glasses hurt my ears and eyes as they were for someone with a normal sized noggin' ...

Aside from those criticisms though, it was a good movie (to watch, not listen to), and Bob and I had the fun of seeing it with my nephew Zach. A very visually interesting movie that can best be seen with the assistance of earplugs.

If I had to grade it I'd give it a C+. Passing, but the visual effects did not distract me enough from the pathetic plotline and bad acting.

(Yes, I am being harsh and critical of a kids movie - deal with it!)

*Puts on 3-d goggles*

Let me start by also saying- the plot, dialogue, and-well- the actors, could have been left out of this. That said- HOLY CRAP! I loved this flick. About 75% of the movie happens inside of a 3-d video game. The graphics are off the hook, the action is stupendous, and the fact that all of this happened in 3-D just blew my mind.

If you're out for an intellectually stimulating movie, rent Donnie Darko.

If you want to literally burn your corneas with ultra-sweet, high tech, 3-dimensional visual effects- go watch this. It was the most visually stunning flick I've seen all year.
