HISTORY: Vampyr is the chosen name by the race known commonly as vampires. When space travel and settlement on Earth began to be popular, the Vampyr were among the first to travel there. On dark asteroids or in artificially lit space stations, the Vampyr were finally able to escape their biggest obstacle and fear- sunlight. Despite the legends and tales surrounding Vampires, one cannot become a Vampyr by being bitten (otherwise, every time the feed, a new Vampyr would be born.) To become a Vampyr, you would have your blood drank until the point of death, at which point you would need to drink the blood of the Vampyr whop would become your sire. The Vampyr possess superhuman strength, agility, speed, and senses. Since they do not age, and are in many ways immortal, many of the older Vampyr possess hundreds of years of knowledge, making them intimidating foes, both politically and in a fight.
